Policy on double awarding
We want to support as many young investigators and clinicians as possible in their career development.
For this reason, we do not allow 'double awarding.'
In general terms, this means that:
- If you win an EHA award, you cannot receive another award from us until it has ended
- Once your award has ended, you're free to apply for other opportunities
Rules if you've received an EHA mentoring program award
If you've received an EHA mentoring program award, you cannot apply for another one for a specific period. This period:
- Begins when you complete your current program
- Lasts for two years
This includes the TRTH program.
This rule is in place to allow the mentorship's impact on your research project to show. You should still be working on making that a success during the two-year interval.
Rules if you've received an EHA Research Grant
If you've received an EHA Research Grant, you cannot apply for the following whilst your project is active:
- A travel grant for the EHA Congress—because your grant is already supposed to cover travel, registration, and accommodation for this event
- A mentoring program
You can, however, apply for the bite-sized Master Class.
