EHA Board Retreat 2022 - Corona measures

EHA has summarised some of the most relevant COVID-19 related measures for you during the retreat:

  • All individuals should be aware of, and follow the applicable COVID-19 rules when entering Italy and while staying at the retreat.
  • General health and safety rules in Italy apply, including:
    • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based gel
    • Avoid close contact with people, keeping a distance of at least 1 meter (if not wearing a mask)
    • Do not shake hands, kiss or hug
    • Do not touch your mouth, eyes or nose with your hands
  • Wearing a face mask (FFP2 required) is mandatory indoors and on public transport. Outside it is not required.
  • Anyone with symptoms should not attend the program until tested negative from a self-test.
  • Anyone testing positive for COVID-19 (either self-test, PCR or antigen), must self-isolate for at least 5 days. No travel is allowed.
  • The program can continue even after participants have been in close contact with anyone tested positive, provided that no symptoms occur. It is advised to take a self-test as soon as being informed of having been in close contact with anyone tested positive.

Until 30 April, a 'super green pass' is required to access the hotel and thus the meeting. A ‘super green pass’ is an EUDCC based on proof of full vaccination or recovery.

Travel to Italy

Please check with your airline what their exact requirements are for travelling to Italy. Below are some general rules:

  • Facemask is required (FFP2 type) when travelling to Italy. Such a mask is also required to be worn in the taxi that has been arranged for you from the airport to the hotel.
  • Travellers from outside of Italy must fill in a Passenger Locator Form before departure.
  • Travellers must also submit a COVID-10 green certificate (check your airline for details)

For travellers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations, no more tests is required on departure. Proof of a complete vaccination schedule becomes sufficient to arrive in France, regardless of the country of origin, as was the case before the distribution of the Omicron variant.
For unvaccinated travellers, the obligation to present a negative test to travel to France remains, but the measures on arrival (test, isolation) are lifted when they come from countries on the "green" list, characterized by a moderate circulation of the virus.
  • Portugal
    When travelling back to Portugal, you will need;
    A valid
vaccination EU Digital COVID Certificate (with a complete vaccination schedule or with a complete vaccination schedule and a vaccine booster)
Or a valid test or recovery EU Digital COVID Certificate,
Or a valid vaccination certificate (with a complete vaccination schedule or a vaccine booster) or recovery certificate issued by a third country, under reciprocal conditions

When you travel to England, you do not need to:

    • take any COVID-19 tests before you travel or after you arrive
    • quarantine when you arrive
  • Germany
  • Finland
