Decreasing toxicities
Decreasing CRS and neurotoxicity is an important challenge in CAR T cell therapy. Scientists are developing novel CAR T products that are less toxic. Other approaches to decrease toxicities include
- dose adjustment or split dosing according to tumor cell burden,
- CRS pre-emptive approaches,
- early intervention and standardized guidelines (ASBMT/EBMT guidelines).
